OMNUC 'U'Series Servo System combines an ultra-small brushless servo-motor, matched with a rugged servo drive. Whether your needs are for 100VAC or 200VAC, incremental or absolute encoder feedback, pulse or analog input, OMRON has a servo system to meet your requirements. Our quick connection system to OMRON PLC position control and motion control units give system designers and machine builders a high performance, flexible servo system that can be set up quickly for a variety of applications.

With the use of small power modules and the integration of electric circuits, we will continue to work towards the miniaturization of our products.

Easy-to-operate

Parameters are divided into groups, making setting and monitoring easy. Two models of Parameter Units are available depending on use.

Easy-to-wire

A wide range of special cables and repeater units are available, making connection with OMRON Position Controllers and Position Control Units easier.

Easy-to-adjust

The control system gain is automatically adjusted using the auto-tuning function, making it possible to reduce the system startup time.

Low noise

The use of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bi-polar Transistor) means that sharp, piercing noises are removed.

Multi-functional

Useful additional functions such as soft start, torque control, reverse mode, internal speed control settings, encoder resolution, electrical gears, position lock, brake interlock, and overtravel are all standard equipment, providing a staightforward and simple system.

  Servomotor

Ultra-small and Lightweight

Rare-earth magnets and new design magnetic circuits are used, making an ultra-small lightweight model a reality.

Smooth Rotation

Cogging torque has been reduced, so the motor rotates smoothly even at low speeds. The speed control range is 1:5,000.

High-speed Positioning

Maximum rotational speed is 4,500 r/min. Productivity can be improved with the shorter positioning time.

Available with Brakes and Key

Specifications for all available options make it possible to select the most compatible components for your system.
